I'm flattered that you have faith in me. :)) But sadly, I don't have a wall to submit. Haha :D My old laptop got broken and had to be reformatted so the picture I was on the process of vectoring got erased. Then I broke my old laptop's LCD so I only got to see 2/3 of the desktop. Sad right? But now I have a new laptop, we just got it last summer. So maybe I'll try studying photoshop again when I have the time. :) And what's your username in tumblr btw?

The funny thing about the people in APPLE is that some of them like JD actually know some people I know. Mutual friends. So it turns out they aren't just random people on the internet.

Yeah I do like keeping in touch, but Aimi's one of the AP people I haven't talked to in a while. JD pointed me to her facebook page recently, which was awesome.

It was aimi's birthday a few days ago! :)

And yeah I did forget to mention, Shizuo is one of my favorite characters ever. It's always good to see some old school hot-blooded action, one you only normally see on mecha and shonen anime.

I for one don't really care for this vampire craze. Wesley Snipes should make another Blade film where he teams up with Underworld's Kate Beckinsale and they kick sparkling pretty boy vampire asses.

It's okay, you should NEVER fave a wall you don't really like.

As you may know, the Philippines has this "support local music" thing going on. That's cool and all, but should I really just support someone by virtue of his being my kababayan? What if his work goes against my beliefs? What if it doesn't suit my taste? What if it just plain sucks?

Feed the artist, they say. The industry is full of these so-called "independent artists". But wouldn't feeding them just because they're indie make them dependent on the "indie" tag? I say, STARVE the artist. Make them work for the fame and fortune they so desire.

So same here with AP, I criticize bad walls regardless of who made them. If a wall sucks, I'll say it sucks. And I expect people to treat my walls the same way. It'll be a far healthier experience than having people kissing your ass all the time. Kung pirmi na lang ingon ana, unsaon man nato pag kahibalo nga ni maayo ta? :)

I was originally planning on something like a wall with one of the girls. Maybe a wall with Celty with some Sleepy Hollow (the movie with Johnny Depp) themes.

Or I'd just hop on this vampire bandwagon and do a bloody Anri wallpaper (even though she is no bloodsucker).

Now I'm not really sure. A lot of my walls have been damned to development hell, mostly because I have deadlines to beat. Classes start in about a week so that's gonna be something else to think about, too.

Anyway. How're things going for you lately? The Blu Ray versions for the latest evangelion movie just came out, and that has eaten a huge chunk of my time yesterday.

Anyway, it's 4 a.m. and I am barely able to string together coherent sentences. I'll get a wall done soon enough and I'll be sure to let you know. Anyway, catch you some other time! :)

Guess what. You just hurt my productivity.

I'm watching DRRR right now, I'm up to the 7th ep already. And all I can say is that it's so freaking awesome that I've set aside my work for some DRRR watching. From the moment miss Sleepy Hollow showed up, I knew that I was gonna love this show. So yeah, I'm not getting much work done but maybe I do need a break from time to time. :D

I'm now lurking at the usual image dumpsites for some awesome DRRR art. Something that I can turn into a wallpaper. Something that'll help me decide which character(s) to include. Something that'll actually help me decide what kind of wall to make. @_@

I'm not actually employed, more like, self-employed. I'm a freelancer, offering services from layouts to illustrations to photography. The coolest thing about this gig is that every morning, I get to decide whether I want to go to work or not. I'm my own boss so nobody kicks my ass but me. :D You should try it some time.

And I was referring to the Floyd Mayweather VS Shane Mosley boxing event the last time. hehe.

Anyway all I really wanted to say was thank you for recommending this show to me. I can't believe I didn't watch this sooner. And if you have any requests or suggestions for a DRRR wall, I'd be more than happy to hear them!

wow. the more i look at screens of DRRR, the more i want to watch it.

to tell you the truth, I had both 00 seasons on my HD kaya lang I never got around to watching it. I was too wrapped up with my photography job that a lot of downloaded anime and games went unwatched and un-played. I understand that what I did was a capital offense against good shows.

I immediately thought that a wall based on the Beatles would catch on. And it did. Well, I've grown accustomed to using the trackpad that it seems hard to do vectoring on the mouse or in tablet.

Is DuRaRaRa any good? I've been meaning to watch it but nobody I knew had a any opinion of it. But if you recommend it, then it must be pretty good. Maybe I'll watch this after I get everything done.

And that Gundam kit looks awesome! Back in the day 1/160 model kits went for only 250 pesos each, but it was still a lot of money for a fourth grader. I still buy a kit or two from time to time but only if I really like the mech. Last one I got was the Buster from Seed. I have to say I'm disappointed at the reduction of moving parts. I can't pose my kits the way I used to, but I guess it makes the kits less prone to breaking.

I'll probably post a Unicorn wall when episode 2 comes out. I want to see more Unicorn action to ensure that I'll be able to make good artistic decisions when it comes to the direction and overall feel of the wall (nah, that's just an excuse. I just want to see the Unicorn kick serious ass).

gotta get back to work now. Next time. :)

I noticed that the last time I left a message here, I was talking about Ondoy. Well, the weather's done a heel face turn and It's so hot in here these days. So damn hot in my pants that I can actually cook things in it. It's boiling in here that I have to bathe several times a day and I'm rarely seen with a shirt on.

It's that serious. I'm sweating waterfalls as I type this. You can probably place a hydroelectric pump below me and it'd generate enough electricity to light a city block. Haha! How are things there in your part o' the world?

I'm actually doing a lot of vectors recently, although they're not anime related and are all commissioned works. Cartoons still, but western style.

But enough about me. What have you been up to lately, dear friend? And have you seen Gundam Unicorn? Good God, old school Gundam character designs PLUS Gundam 00 quality animation, topped off with 1080p HD goodness. Wow.

Do hit me some time, I apologize for not being able to reply sooner. A metric buttload ton of work shook me awake one morning and it hasn't left since. I hope to be able to wall sometime soon, but no series comes to mind. Any suggestions?

Thankfully I was in Mindanao when Ondoy hit, so there was no rain at all. But I took a flight to Cebu the next day and the winds were still as strong as ever. Turboprop pa gyud ang amo-ang airplane... :) Nice to hear from you!
